A telephone adapter is yet another equipment which can help you use your regular landline phone as a VoIP phone. You can connect your regular phone with the computer via the adapter. In effect, your regular phone uses the computer to offer the services of a VoIP phone, without you having to buy any fresh VoIP phone.
